News clippings related to a
new water supply for Philadelphia
1944-1946

This series of clippings documents the city's last search for a new water supply to replace the grossly polluted Schuylkill and Delaware Rivers. While the 194-page PDF is a bit unwieldy, it is a wealth of information for anyone interested in public works in this region at that time. This was among the final scanning projects undertaken by long-time PWD Archives volunteers, Dan and Pauline Greene.
