Death Notices:
Philadelphia Funeral Ephemera

I purchased these three receipts for $1 each at a local flea market. They record the costs of burial of what I assume are several generations of the same family: Henry Keller in 1849, Margaretta K. Donnelly (ordered by George W. Keller and George W. Halloway) in 1891, and Fannie H. Yeager (ordered by F. Marion Yeager) in 1934. I have also included an advertisement for Laurel Hill Cemetery, from the 1897 Philadelphia Record Almanac. Click on the thumbnails to see the full-sized versions.
